Why it feels different.

Yamamoto #40 over the whole suit.
Greenwave uses Yamamoto #40, our most flexible neoprene, on every panel. Nothing in the suit is built for stiffness, so it moves with you from the shoulders to the ankles.
A jersey that doesn't hold the neoprene back.
Greenwave #2080 plant-based jersey is rated at 500% elongation in width and length, with a recycled super-stretch interior. Paired with #40 throughout, the jersey stops being the limit on stretch.
Sealed everywhere.
GBS seams with a liquid seal over the entire suit and no internal tape, so the seams flex as far as the panels do. The YKK SoFlex zip pairs perfectly with this extremely flexible neoprene and jersey combo. You won't notice the zipper is there.
#39 where you need shape. #40 where you need movement.
Yamamoto #39 in the torso for durability, shape and warmth. Yamamoto #40 in the shoulders and arms to cut paddling fatigue.
A silky hand feel.
A custom jersey with a smooth, silky hand feel, and no thermal lining to add weight. It sits between Greenwave and White Label on feel and price.
Sealed below the armpits. Free above them.
GBS seams, tape at the stress points, and a liquid seal that stops below the armpits to keep the shoulders free for paddling. Finished with a YKK all-metal zip.
High-end build. Limestone-based neoprene.
White Label is built to high-end specifications with a limestone-based neoprene, no external branding and a slightly heavier hand feel. The neoprene and jersey are where the savings come from, but the suit still holds up next to a $400+ suit at your local retail shop.
Thermal lining where it counts.
Super-stretch jersey with a recycled interior. A quick-dry thermal lining in the torso and thighs adds warmth, and some weight, on the 3/2, 4/3 and 4/3 hooded. The spring suit has no lining.
Sealed outside, wrists and ankles.
GBS seams with liquid-sealed exterior seams and sealed wrists and ankles. YKK zip with a metal pull.
You can feel it on the rack.
Side by side, the difference is in your hand.
White Label is a bit firmer than our other lines, but still has a premium hand feel. Colby + Yamamoto, with Yamamoto #40 in the upper body and an ultra-stretch jersey, is silky-soft and flexible. Greenwave is our softest and most flexible of all. Grab each sleeve at the forearm. Stretch it: Greenwave gives first and furthest. Lift the thermal-lined suits: the extra weight is the lining.
